eye on the sky

Is it just me or are the skies in lockdown more spectacular than ever: more colourful and crisper with more extravagant clouds decorating the vista? Maybe it’s the absence of planes and cars. Maybe it’s because lockdown has forced me to slow down and enjoy my immediate surroundings…

Who knows. What ever the reason we’ve been treated to some sensational sunsets, sunrises and a glut of golden hour goodies. You just cant beat that time of day just after sunrise or before sunset when the light is a perfect mix of soft orange, red and gold hues.

Hope you’ll enjoy the slideshow of some of my favourite art in the sky images. Nature really is a great artist.

(You can see more of my lockdown photographs in my Colours and Shapes of Lockdown, Fluffy things, and Things I think I Saw blogs).
