River of Light (neon, reclaimed wood)

I’ve always loved the river Thames, it’s the lifeblood of London, carving its way through the middle of the city. This stretch, from Chiswick to Woolwich, is instantly recognisable.

The river’s iconic shape makes it the perfect subject for my art. For this piece the outline of the river is created with neon glass tubes and attached to reclaimed wooden planks, with a rusted steel frame and industrial hooks for hanging.

River of Light is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 4-5 weeks.
